Last Night's Drive: Tim Duncan
Final Line: 29 Points + 10 Rebounds + 3 Assists = 42 PRA
1st of all: Thank u Dennis for pointing me in the right direction! And thank u Pop by telling us that u wouldn't change the starting line up, that was clearly an indicator that Duncan was going to be the go-to-guy. Parker (my initial pick) had another solid game and Jefferson dominated the boards. Duncan is my 2nd Daily Point Lider, he had a great 1st half (17 points) but he kinda coolled off in the 2nd. In clutch time Duncan ends his great performance with a 3 pointer (a very rare and strange moment) and gave me 42 PRA.

Today I'm Driving With: Josh Smith
What a dilemma...Today we all need to pick a Hawk, but after the 1st game...I have Horford (with Howard down there playing great and staying away from foul trouble I think he will have more chances at home), have Jamal (a kind of player that shoots and produces more at home) and J. Smith on the road is always risky...difficult choice!!!
I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteDriving with Smith.
Howard is going to shut down horford so unless he racks up the rebounds i doubt a good series for him. However both smith and johnson were playing well in game one before the blowout. Meaning that they must have favorable matchups.
So barring a blowout i feel smith will produce. He is athletic, and way to powerful for either lewis, or anderson! Although howard will guarding the paint he won't be on smith!
Hope for howard foul trouble (opens up the lane for smith to drive and rebound) hope for Smith to be mature enough to step up and not fade away with pressure, but most of all hope for a close game (a blow out will put smith on the bench again)
I have a feeling that he will step up :)
ReplyDeleteGo J-Smooooooooooooove
Horford is feeling it :( 22 PRA at halftime
ReplyDeleteI know :( shoot who would have thought horford would have done that? really he was invisible game 1! But its ok smith will step it up and isn't doing terrible. He has 11
ReplyDeletelet's hope for a better 2nd half...howard needs to shut down horford
ReplyDeleteSo horford had a good game. Who would have guessed. Smith was still the smart pick and i don't regret it at all!
ReplyDeleteSo now like i said i am picking Ginobili for Friday. He will play well at home with the crowd at his back and his back up against a wall. But your welcome to go with who you want. (i still think cavs will win the series but i wouldn't mind to see a win in boston on friday to make sure, so i am going to chill and see what happens with that series before i go any further with that)
Good luck!
I have Ginobli locked since Monday ;)
ReplyDeleteTime for Manu to explode!!!
I still think Horford was the best pick (but like u said, who would have guess). Maybe I don't have a chance to pick another Hawk ( 4-0 to Orlando? )
I don't trust these Cavs...Where's Mo Williams? Where's Jamison? and will they stop Rondo?
Good luck and tks for the support!
