My Daily Pick - Sat 04/24

Last Night's Drive: Dwyane Wade

Final Line: 34 Points + 5 Rebounds + 8 Assists = 47 PRA

It was the best game of the series for Wade. He dis his job, as always. He really needs and deserves a better team arround him. The Truth gave the the C's a good advantage (3-0) and now it's all clear in this series. Good win for the Spurs and the Jazz (they have now homecourt advantage).

Points: 238 | Rank: 7.809 | Percentile: 63 %

Today I'm Driving With: Gerald Wallace

I already picked Salmons, Jennings, Cap. Jack, Westbrook and Durant so my move here it's pretty easy. I really need to go with Wallace. This will be the last easy pick for me cause tomorrow I need to start taking risks. If Wallace stays out of foul trouble he could have another solid game like he did in his 1st. Expecting at least 30 PRA. Go Crash!!!

My Daily Pick - Fri 04/23

Last Night's Drive: Kevin Durant

Final Line: 29 Points + 19 Rebounds + 4 Assists = 52 PRA

What a great game of basketball yesterday in Oakland. Lots of intensity and an amazing crowd. The Loud City, eheheh. The Thunder fans must feel very happy with the excellent work done by Scott Brooks. I really like this team, they are exciting. If they can keep players like Durant, Westbrook and Green they will become one of the best and dangerous teams in the league. Too much talent, they only need more experience.

We can always expect 25 + points by Durant but 19 boards (career high) on a bad shooting night (FGM-A 8-24) is pure luck! Was clearly the best game for him in this series with 52 PRA. The bad news is that the Thunder won and I already picked Westbrook and Durant. Meanwhile Cleveland lose to Chicago and this is good for me because I still have Noah and Deng.

Points: 191 | Rank: 9.218 | Percentile: 55 %

Today I'm Driving With: Dwyane Wade

Not a wise move to pick someone from the other 2 games that we have today. The series are both tied and I rather wait to see what happens. So, once again I’m going with the masses. Hoping that my C’s look to go up 3-0 at Miami and there’s only one man who can save the Heat…He’s a superhero…Go Flash!

My Daily Pick - Thu 04/22

Last Night's Drive: Stephen Jackson

Final Line: 27 Points + 3 Rebounds + 3 Assists = 33 PRA

Nice move here with Captain Jack. Even with Howard in foul trouble Wallace (37 %) only manage to get 22 PRA. And I still have Duncan and Dirk. We all know that this series could go to 7 games and i will have time to pick both.

Points: 139 | Rank: 11.283 | Percentile: 43 %

Today I'm Driving With: Kevin Durant

Obviously Durantula :) It's pretty simple for me. If I want to pick Wallace (no more Bucks to pick) I need to play Durant today. There's nothing wrong in going with the masses, the only problem is that we won't rise in the rank but with Durantula surely we won't fall :)

My Daily Pick - Wed 04/21

Last night's drive: Brandon Jennings

Final Line: 9 Points + 4 Rebounds + 2 Assists = 15 PRA

Miserable game for Jennings (FGM-A 3-15) and for me 2 . This is a game where strategy is very important but we also need a bit of luck. I could have more 30 PRA if i had gone with Jennings in my 1st pick and with Salmons yesterday :( The plan stills the same but I really miss those 30 PRA! Falling in the rank for the 1st time. That really sucks :(

Points: 106 | Rank: 12.312 | Percentile: 36 %

Today I'm driving with: Stephen Jackson

I don’t want to enter in the Texas series yet. And the only decent picks are Wallace or Jackson. I’m going with Jackson because I don’t believe that Howard will spend another game on the bench with foul trouble. Wallace could spend more time and energy defending the big guys. Jackson’s injury shouldn’t be a problem, this guy is a true warrior. He will play for sure (take a look at the practice report) and only a blowout game could limit his minutes.

My Daily Pick - Tue 04/20

Last night's drive: Derrick Rose

Final Line: 23 Points + 2 Rebounds + 8 Assists = 33 PRA

Not a good move :( I was afraid that Noah could get too emotional and he expolded for 41 PRA. Deng was my initial pick and he manage to get 31 PRA. And now after taking Rose in game 2 i have to adjust my initial plan. Always learning...Not a good move at all!

Points: 91 | Rank: 10.770 | Percentile: 40 %

Today I'm driving with: Brandon Jennings

It's easy for me. Already took Salmons and Westbrook. Durant??? Not yet :) and I have doubts in all other series. Hey Jennings...You scored 55 against the Warriors...remember??? Do it again! ehehehehhe (Beasley could be a great pick for today...)

My Daily Pick - Mon 04/19

Last night's drive:

Russel Westbrook

Final Line: 23 Points + 4 Rebounds + 8 Assists = 35 PRA

It was a good night for Westbrook (missed a double double by 2 assists) but only manage to get 4 rebounds (i was expecting more baucause he is one of the best PG in that category) and I'm very happy in not taking Durant (FGM-A 7-24, that's strange). But maybe the best pick yesterday was Wallace (with Howard in foul trouble) he dominated the boards with 17 rebounds, that's very impressive when u play against the Magic.

Points: 58 | Rank: 11.617 | Percentile: 32 %

Today I'm driving with:

I'm playing safe at the moment. I could go with someone from the Jazz (D. Will or Boozer) but maybe this series could get longer. I don't want to play Rose tonight and Noah could see a lot of minutes in the bench due to foul trouble. The only reliable option for me is Deng, hoping that he could go for a lot more than 18 PRA.

Changing my pick:

I'm going with Rose.

My Daily Pick - Sun 4/18

Last night's drive:

John Salmons

Final Line: 16 Points + 5 Rebounds + 2 Assists = 23 PRA

First of all, it was Jennings night. We went for 40 PRA, it was very impressive for a debut in playoffs. Salmons went for better numbers in the second half (he had 6 PRA at halftime) but it was too late and always in the shadow of Jennings. Not a good start. Let's hope for a good finish :)

Points: 23 | Rank: 12.424 | Percentile: 21

Today I'm driving with:

It's seems pretty logic here. OKC will fall in this round. And taking one of the Bobcats on a road game is always risky. Let's see how the Suns can handle the Blazers (in my modest opinion they are one of the best defensive teams in the league) so i predict a long series, even without Brandon Roy, they will fight hard. Finally I want to stay away for the Texas series, and we all know Why... :)

Go Westbrook!!!
